AREA DEMOGRAPHICS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Pensacola Christmas Parade, hosted and coordinated by Pensacola Christmas Projects, Inc., is in it's 27th year. Pensacola Christmas Projects, Inc. was formed with the sole purpose of putting on a great parade in downtown Pensacola. The organization is staffed by a group of volunteers (non-paid) who give of their time each year to make the parade a huge success.

Each December, the Christmas Parade attracts over 50,000 enthusiasts to this traditional downtown event. Past Previous media partnerships include Cox Communications who provides a 30 second television commercials airing across 50+ television networks; The Pensacola News Journal and Family on The Coast provide full color ads. For the past five years, The Pensacola Christmas Parade is the ONLY local parade broadcast live by WKRG News 5.

The Pensacola Christmas Parade draws from a four county area (listed below). This area below represents an approximately 100-mile radius along the western portion of the Florida panhandle and eastern portion of lower Alabama.
