2012 COX PENSACOLA CHRISTMAS PARADE ANNOUNCES WINNERS!
Dec. 8, 2012 – The 2012 Cox Pensacola Christmas Parade has concluded. The parade hosted over 50,000 people including nearly 90 entries, all six bands from Escambia County and three bands and one dance team from New Orleans and Mississippi. The parade also featured the nationally renowned Blue Angels flight team and a host of organizations from around the region.

Preceding the parade was the popular 1.2 miles Christmas Parade Dash, sponsored by the
Pensacola Runners Association handing out Santa hats to all participating runners.
Parade winners were named for best school division, church division, business division, dancing teams and open division. Best school division was Ransom Middle School; church, Potential Church; business, Marine Max, Helen Back, and Butler Auto Recycling; dancing team, Jeannie Morris New Orleans Group; and open division, Cub Scouts 602 and First Circuit Guardian Ad Litem.
All profits of the Cox Pensacola Christmas Parade go to the local high school band booster organizations. Over $25,000 has been donated to the five area high schools.
